You'll find him hanging around pilings, bridges, seawalls, and anywhere else barnacles have made the poor decision to settle down. Armed with a mouth full of teeth that look suspiciously human, the sheepshead spends most of his day crunching crabs, shrimp, oysters, and whatever else he can pry off the structure.
They're striped like an inmate, built like a dinner plate, and considerably better at stealing bait than you are at catching them.
